Jamming in the far, far North

How to be heard when you represent just a tiny fraction of the overall population of a country and live at its furthest extremes? Is the loss of traditional ways of life inevitable, are the words that nature used to speak to us doomed to disappear? 

Our team gathered together in the far North Finnish town of Utsjoki deep in the Arctic Circle to take part in the first Sámi game jam and share the joy of making games, and also to see if games can somehow speak to some of the contemporary concerns of the Sámi people.
